最終，我們也受不住引誘聽了香港管弦樂團的Zemlinsky – Lyric Symphony。我一點也不喜歡此曲，單聽 Lyric Symphony ，我覺得Zemlinsky作曲簡直是拉牛上樹，難怪要輸給情敵馬勒! 最大收獲反而是聽陶傑在音樂會前講解歌詞。歌詞來自首位非歐裔諾貝爾文學獎得主 — 印度詩人泰弋爾*(Rabindranath Tagore)。
看看這句話你便會明白我為何對泰弋爾一見鍾情:
“I do not put my faith in institutions, but in individuals all over the world who think clearly, feel nobly and act rightly. They are the channels of moral truth.” (Rabindranath Tagore)

The ‘I’ that floats along the wave of time，
From a distance I watch him. With the dust and the water,

*泰弋爾(1861 – 1941) 印度孟加拉语诗人、作家、作曲家和画家。20多岁时即出版了几本诗集，其中包括《心中的向往》。后期的宗教诗收录在《吉檀迦利》(1912) 中被介绍到西方。他曾在英國接受教育。通过在世界各地旅行和演讲，他将印度文化全方位地介绍给了西方，也将西方文化介绍到了印度。他坚决支持印度的独立。为表示对阿姆利则血案的抗议，他放弃了1915年所受封的爵位。他在孟加拉建立了一所试验学校，试图融合东西方哲学。这所学校是维斯瓦-瓦拉蒂大学(1921)的前身。他也是首位非歐裔諾貝爾文學獎得主。(綜合網路資料)
